Optical arts has been part of the Toledo community since 1962. The business was founded by Lester Diefienthaler, beginning a tradition of personalized optical service, quality eyewear and a commitment to the community.
Today, Optical Arts continues that tradition as an independent, locally owned optical boutique at 2934 W. Central Avenue in Toledo, Ohio.

With more than 17 years of experience in the optical industry, Valerie Lambert brings a combination of optical expertise, creativity, education and community involvement to Optical Arts.
As a licensed optician, ABO/NCLE continuing education speaker, published writer and industry advocate, Valerie is passionate about advancing the optical profession and creating an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through the door.
